This recording is an exerpt read from a primary document that was written by an American Japanese woman during WWII.

The challenge of this project is that we had to find a difficult recording location and test our limits with the boom mic. I picked an echoing corridor next to a street—so once in a while you may hear car engines in the recording.

In post-production, I trimmed and edited the narration on ProTools, then added sound effects to enhance the story.
